Food Security Program
Among its many programs dedicated to community service, the foundation recently launched the "Affordable Meals for Urban Hustlers" program. This initiative aims to provide nutritious, affordable meals to urban dwellers, particularly those struggling to make ends meet amidst the rising cost of living and unstable income sources. The program aligns with the foundation’s broader mission of supporting underserved communities, especially by focusing on areas like access to food, clean water, education, and infrastructure.
UNCLE-TUSIIME GEOFF DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION has become a beacon of hope across Uganda, particularly in the bustling urban areas where the cost of living continues to rise. To support urban residents striving to make ends meet, the foundation introduced the "Affordable Meals for Urban Hustlers" program to target economically-vulnerable urban laborers and job seekers who are commonly referred to as "hustlers" in major Ugandan towns such as Kampala, Jinja, and Mbarara.
